As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your customer service skills will support positive interactions throughout the facility. Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon09:45 PM - 06:00 AMSat01:45 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and/or patients as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe for irregularities and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement when needed to address security-related concerns on the premises.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Act as a visible Allied Universal representative, assisting with access control and providing directions or information to staff, visitors, and patients as needed.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
