Scrum Master/Team Coach job at Lighthouse Technology Services Charlotte, NC, US

Job Description

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master/Team Coach position! This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. What You'll Be Doing:

Lead, facilitate, and motivate Scrum Teams to achieve high performance and quality delivery in agile environments.
Serve several high-visibility product teams using Scrum methodology across various business lines.
Act as a servant leader for the Scrum Team, Product Owner, and the organization, coaching all levels in an evolving agile culture.
Resolve impediments and help teams focus on creating value each sprint.
Facilitate Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Assist Product Owners with backlog management, goal communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Promote cross-team collaboration and visibility of Scrum artifacts.
Monitor team performance metrics, ensure transparency of progress, and foster continuous improvement.
Work alongside Agile leadership to mature agile practices across the organization.
Support agile product lifecycle, focusing on business value, adoption, and iterative improvement.
Foster trust within Scrum Teams by promoting Scrum values and practices.

What You'll Need to Have:

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
5+ years of IT full development lifecycle experience
Proven ability to lead large, complex software implementations
Experience applying Scrum in environments such as retail, food services, hospitality, logistics, or supply chain
Experience working in high-volume, multi-location operational environments
Experience with consumer-facing or B2B systems used in service-based industries (e.g., point-of-sale systems, inventory management, etc)
Strategic thinker with strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Agile practitioner mindset and understanding of agile development practices
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across teams and executives
