About the Role
MGT Insurance is looking for an entrepreneurial E&S Underwriter to help shape the next chapter of our company. This is not a plug-and-play underwriting role - it’s an opportunity to be part of a small, highly empowered team building a modern E&S platform in one of the fastest-growing segments of the insurance market. As an Underwriter at MGT, you’ll have real ownership. You’ll manage a portfolio, assess and price risk, recognize exposures, structure thoughtful coverage solutions, and partner closely with our broker partners to grow profitable, sustainable business. Your decisions matter, and you’ll be accountable for outcomes. We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and has a strong bias for action. The work is challenging - and intentionally so - but also deeply rewarding. If you’re excited by the idea of building, believe the industry can be better, and have felt frustrated by the slow pace of change, we’d love to talk.
