\nRegistered Nurse - PCU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• 13-week assignment working 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• Weekend requirement of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
\n• Current patient ratios of 1:5 for PCU (goal is 1:4)
\n• Float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med Surg
\n• Care for patients on Hospitalist service with pulmonary and other medicine-related illnesses
\n• Manage patients with chest tubes, IV drips, trach, PICC lines, and various oxygen modes
\n• Work with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
\n• Handle blood product administration and central line care/management
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Epic experience required
\n• Minimum 1 year of experience required
\n• 32 hours of orientation provided
\n• Required to work at least 1 holiday per assignment (2 holidays during winter season)
\n• All RTO must be submitted upfront with application
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 20-bed unit with daily census of 20
