ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia.

\nRN - Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour day/night rotating shifts with weekends as scheduled
\n• Patient ratios of 1:6/7 (up to 1:7 maximum)
\n• Care for 30-bed medical surgical unit
\n• Manage patients with common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, urosepsis, and AKI
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS
\n• Titrate heparin drips based on APTT results
\n• Work with telemetry monitoring (watched remotely by monitor techs)
\n• Use EPIC charting system
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• Float as needed based on census (external travelers float first)
\n• Work alongside PCTs (patient care technicians) and one charge RN with assignment
\n• Handle intermittent BIPAP equipment (no ventilators)
\n• Usually scheduled for half of total weekends
\n• No standby or call requirements
\n• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
\n• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license with submission
\n• Must be within 50-mile radius of facility
\n• BSN not required
