Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Corrections • Day Shift

Seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a corrections role in the Navasota, TX area, with assignments at nearby facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in a correctional setting.
• Administer medications and IV therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient care.
• Float between units within a 10•30-minute radius as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Compact or Texas LVN license.
• 2+ years LVN experience, including 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg.
• BLS and IV Therapy Certification.
• Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych is a plus.
• Strong independent work and problem-solving skills.

Schedule:

• 13•week assignment, potential for extension.
• Day shifts with 36/48•hour weekly rotation.
• Availability through holidays required.

Additional Information:

• COVID•19 vaccination required; exemptions accepted.
• Flexibility for schedule changes and floating.
