Job Description
A school-based educational program is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional for temporary classroom coverage. The position provides instructional and behavioral support to students during staff absences.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Assist teachers with classroom instruction and supervision
Provide support for individual or small-group student needs
Monitor and document academic and behavioral progress
Support classroom routines, transitions, and organization
Maintain confidentiality and follow school procedures
Complete required fingerprinting and background checks before placement
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
Prior experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in childcare preferred
Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills
Dependable, adaptable, and professional for substitute assignments
Willing to complete fingerprinting and background clearance

Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $48.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
