Job Description
A school-based support program is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to provide flexible classroom coverage. The position emphasizes academic and behavioral support, maintaining classroom routines, and fostering student engagement.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Provide classroom instruction assistance and student supervision
Support individual or small-group academic and behavioral needs
Monitor and document student behavior and participation
Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and organization
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school safety protocols
Complete fingerprinting and background requirements prior to assignment
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
Prior paraprofessional, aide, or childcare experience preferred
Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills
Dependable, adaptable, and professional
Willing to complete school fingerprinting
