Associate Attorney – Special Education Law
Location: Farmingdale, NY (On-Site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 + Bonus
A well-established law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with a strong background in special education law. The ideal candidate will support active cases in administrative, state, and federal proceedings, including impartial hearings, student suspension hearings, and appeals to the State Review Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel and representation in special education matters
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
Represent clients in hearings and court proceedings
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school and admission to the NY State Bar
Experience in special education law is required
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities
