About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media & Events Manager to join our team in beautiful Solana Beach. You’ll co-own our social media presence across all platforms and play a key role in planning and executing memorable conference events that strengthen our brand and community.
This is a full-time, in-office position reporting to the Head of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter, etc.)
- Create engaging, on-brand content (photos, videos, Reels, Stories, carousels, graphics) in partnership with our in-house team and vendor partners.
- Manage and grow influencers and affiliates
- Community management – respond to comments/DMs, build relationships with followers and influencers
- Worked with and leverages the latest ai tools to improve efficiencies
- Manage paid social media campaigns and analyze performance with our paid media partner (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, etc.)
- Plan, coordinate, and execute company conference events (in-person and hybrid): product launches, pop-ups, networking events, etc.
- Manage event logistics: venue confirmations, vendor coordination, budgeting, permits, staffing, swag, signage, AV, catering, etc
- Promote events via social media and email marketing
- Track and report on social media and event KPIs (reach, engagement, attendance, ROI)
- Stay on top of social media trends and event industry best practices
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in social media management AND event coordination (agency or in-house)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field (preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong)
- Portfolio of successful social media accounts you’ve managed (please include links or examples with application)
- Hands-on experience creating high-performing short-form video content (Reels, TikTok)
- Proven track record of planning and executing events in house and conferences (10–500+ attendees)
Proficient with:
- Social media platforms & native analytics
- Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign)
- Meta Business Suite / Ads Manager
- Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
- Event platforms (Eventbrite, Splash, etc.) a plus

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project-management skills – you thrive when juggling multiple deadlines
- Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must live in the San Diego/north county area – this is a 100% in-office role
Bonus Points For
- Photography/videography skills. Can shoot and edit short-form video content (using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
- High level experience in using programs (Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign)
- Experience in lifestyle, wellness, or consumer-brand industries
- Personally run paid social advertising campaigns with measurable ROI
- Graphic design skills
