Job Description
LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role at our campus in Cedar Park, TX.
You're not here to manage a school. You're here to keep it running and expanding. If you can pivot from guiding prospective parents through campus to coordinating a safety drill to resolving a technical issue without losing composure, this role fits you.
Serving as both the operational core and the admissions gateway for Montessorium's Cedar Park, TX campus, you'll handle everything beyond the classroom walls and everything that brings families through the door. You'll conduct tours designed to enroll, follow up with prospects thoughtfully, and monitor the pipeline. You'll also maintain campus operations: daily coordination, facility management, vendor relations, technology support, and the safeguards that earn parental confidence.
Montessorium is a K-6 Montessori elementary program blending tactile materials and lessons with advanced technology. We support that approach with transparent systems, strong trust, and team members who embrace accountability. This is a full-time, on-campus, salaried position with benefits. If you're the dependable presence families count on and the operator who ensures everything functions smoothly, we'd like to hear from you.
What You Will Be Doing - Conduct family tours that lead to enrollment, tailor follow-up communications, and oversee the admissions pipeline toward enrollment goals
- Respond to inquiries within 24 hours, identify and resolve obstacles, and guide families confidently toward commitment
- Implement safety protocols and drills, record incidents, and ensure rigorous compliance
- Manage daily operations, facility maintenance, vendor relationships, and act as the main technology point of contact
- Organize and facilitate open houses and campus events that present Montessorium through a refined, inviting experience
- Provide short-term coverage during staffing shortages to supervise K–6 students (ages 5–13)—activities like recess duty, transitions, and basic classroom monitoring. This is support, not teaching.
What You Won’t Be Doing - Teaching, tutoring, or delivering academic instruction to students
- Creating curriculum or altering academic programs
- Remaining at a desk all day
- Escalating every technical problem
- Working a fixed 9–5 schedule. Some student activities and events occur after hours or on weekends
School Operations Specialist Key Responsibilities Foster consistent enrollment growth and provide a secure, professional campus environment that builds family trust and allows our guides to concentrate on educational outcomes.
Basic Requirements - Interest in Montessori elementary (prior knowledge preferred, not necessary)
- Proven admissions or enrollment experience, with direct engagement with parents and students
- Strong ownership mindset and initiative to solve problems independently
- Exceptional communication skills and high emotional intelligence
- Legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Available to work in-person in Cedar Park, TX or willing to relocate
