Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Columbia, SC.

Employment Type: Contract

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our client's team in the logistics sector. In this role, you will contribute to picking orders, receiving and putting material in stock, and ensuring that the warehouse and yard operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming material.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.
• Operate PIT equipment including forklifts, bendies, and cherry pickers safely.

Requirements

• A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
• Forklift Operator experience is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with using computers and RF scanner knowledge is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience with warehouse management software.

Work Hours: 8am-4:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.
