Bitwise Alchemy is a premier consulting studio specializing in solving complex challenges for AAA studios and other game technology companies. Our team comprises industry veterans with years of experience in crafting and leading significant projects in AAA video game development.
We are in search of a Lead Engine Programmer to join us in working on thrilling initiatives with prominent industry partners. We offer a distinctive approach to utilizing your game development expertise:
- No crunch periods. Our developers adhere to a capped number of working hours each month (approximately 160 hours) minus any holidays or PTO.
- Flexible work schedules that accommodate your personal commitments. For instance, you could choose to take every Friday off and make up the hours on other days.

Requirements:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong C++ programming skills
- A passion for exploring new projects and tackling challenging problems
Desired skills:
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine 4/5
- Experience with other engines (such as Frostbite, Unity, Proprietary)
- Graphics development knowledge
- Expertise in optimization techniques
- Understanding of networking and multiplayer systems
- Mathematical proficiency
- Experience across multiple platforms (Consoles, Mobile, PC)
