The Evaluation Systems group offers dynamic teacher licensing and performance assessment solutions. Our custom teacher licensure testing programs are 100 percent aligned to state standards. Scorers enjoy a change of pace and the mental challenge of scoring. Immediate openings for candidates to score Digital Literacy and Computer Science remotely for our Hadley office. Key Benefits Starting rate of $17.50 per hour Flexibility to work scoring sessions that suit your availability Work remotely Overall Responsibilities Evaluate responses of teacher candidates in Massachusetts Successfully internalize training and scoring guide and participate in discussions Remain objective and apply the scoring guide according to rubric requirements Meet quality and productivity requirements established for the scoring program Engage with other scorers in consensus scoring activities Pass a qualifying test before scoring Working Conditions Training takes place before scoring begins; there may be a brief orientation meeting before the day of scoring occurs Scoring sessions are typically one or two days long and occur once every two months, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m., including training Qualifications A bachelor’s degree or higher A current Massachusetts Digital Literacy and Computer Science teaching license, or recent college‑level teaching experience in Digital Literacy and Computer Science, or current teaching license and Massachusetts residency Knowledge of computer coding; list any programming languages on your resume Both active and retired teachers can be eligible, provided they hold a current teaching license Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse) Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to maintain a confidential work environment Eligible to work in the United States Additional Information Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
