Trinity Hospice is seeking kind, compassionate, and dependable volunteers to be friendly visitors to our hospice patients. As a hospice volunteer, you will be an important part of the hospice team. As a Friendly Visitor Volunteer, you can provide much-needed companionship by visiting with patients in their homes. Activities that our volunteers do include:
We provide full training in Hospice philosophy and volunteer duties. Orientation and on-going training provided! Background and reference check required. Volunteer will be driving to patients home for visits, so you will need a reliable mode of transportation. We will work with your schedule!
Volunteers must be 18 years or older to volunteer directly with patients. No previous training or volunteer work required. You must have your own reliable vehicle and be willing to travel to visit patients. We are not taking any court ordered community service volunteers at this time.
